Biography


Alicia Orr
Alicia Orr started dancing at the age of four in South Carolina. Her training has consisted of ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and hip hop. During high school, she danced competitively on the Studio b Dance Team and her high school team in Lafayette, Indiana. She was a Liberate Artists prodigy at Phoenix Fire 2019 and an apprentice at Phoenix Fire 2021 and 2022 in New York City. She returned this last year as a part of their production team and faculty, as well as performing and choreographing in their Cabaret and their closing show, “Life Is Art,” where she performed as their narrator, Leading Player.
Alicia currently graduated from Lindenwood University and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a specialization in Jazz and a Minor in Musical Theatre. During this time she attended the American College Dance Association Conference in 2022 and 2023, The Big Muddy Dance Festival, and St. Louis National Dance Festival with Lindenwood University. Alicia has taken advantage of performing in Lindenwood University’s Fall, Winter, and Spring Dance Concerts throughout her time in college. She has also choreographed for the 2022 and 2023 Lindenwood Winter Dance Concert. In 2022, she choreographed a contemporary piece, “Tide of Time,” and a tap piece in 2023, “rhythm of the sole.” For her senior capstone piece, she choreographed a contemporary piece, “juxtapose,” for the Lindenwood University Spring Dance Concert “The Beginning of…”
Alicia has also performed professionally in Minami Kikuchi's piece, "BODY," at the Modern American Dance Company's Dare to Dance Festival in 2024. She has also had the pleasure of performing at Six Flags St. Louis during Fright Fest as a performer in Dead Man’s Party in 2022 and as Bride in Love at First Fright in 2023, as well as their summer season in 2023 as Effy and in 2024 as Martie Stone in Miss Kitty’s Saloon. She was excited to add Swing to her resume in Dead Man's Party during Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis and in Holiday Beats at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Lights. Right now, she is relocating to the Orlando area to pursue more entertainment opportunities.
